Nous was founded in 2023, but it evolved from a family business with over 30 years of experience in lead screw manufacturing, boasting profound expertise in the field. With unique manufacturing processes and quality control, Nous produces high-precision planet roller screws. Leveraging significant cost advantages and product performance, Nous Robot has achieved industry-leading order volume in the humanoid robot sector, poised to address industry pain points such as high costs and long lead times during large-scale humanoid robot production.
Currently, we have overcome the bottleneck of stably producing C5-level precision screws, successfully achieving mass production of the world's smallest planet roller screws with a diameter of 1.5mm and nut diameter of 5.5mm. These are widely used in the core transmission components of humanoid robot dexterous hands and have received commercial validation from leading customers. Recently, Nous Robot has launched linear transmission solutions for humanoid robot thigh and arm joints, developing reverse planet roller screw linear actuators for thighs and forearms with a maximum thrust of 8000N, service life of 3 million cycles, and no overheating in long-term high-load working environments, representing the ultimate solution for humanoid robot joint transmission.
