On October 24th, the 14th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition High-end Equipment Manufacturing National Finals concluded successfully in Yangzhou, Jiangsu. Shenzhen Nous Robot Co., Ltd. stood out from numerous participating enterprises with its technological breakthroughs and innovative applications in planetary roller screws and linear actuators, winning the National Second Prize and becoming a shining star in the humanoid robot core components track.
This competition was hosted by the Torch Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, with the theme "Innovation Leads, Entrepreneurship Builds Dreams". The High-end Equipment Manufacturing National Finals attracted more than 200 outstanding enterprises from 31 divisions across the country. The event opened on October 22nd and after multiple rounds of intense competition including semi-final roadshows and final defenses, winning projects covering humanoid robots, industrial mother machines, intelligent equipment and other fields were finally selected. As one of Yangzhou's six leading industrial clusters, the achievements in the high-end equipment manufacturing field will further promote the integration of industry and innovation in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Nous Robot's participating project "Planetary Roller Screw Actuators and Their Applications" specifically addresses the industry pain points in humanoid robot joint transmission. The product is characterized by small size, high thrust, and high precision. It does not generate heat in long-term high-load working environments and has a service life of up to 3 million cycles, which was evaluated by expert judges as "the ultimate solution for humanoid robot joint transmission". Compared with traditional ball screws, planetary roller screws have advantages such as strong load-bearing capacity, high transmission efficiency, and long service life, but have long faced mass production bottlenecks of high cost and long delivery times. Through its unique manufacturing process and quality control system, Nous Robot has achieved cost optimization while ensuring product performance, and currently ranks leading in the industry in terms of order volume in the humanoid robot field. This award marks an important breakthrough in China's humanoid robot core components field. As a key component of linear transmission, planetary roller screws are widely used in high-end equipment fields such as humanoid robots, medical equipment, and industrial machine tools. Nous Robot's technological achievements have not only filled the gap in domestic mass production of small-diameter screws but also broken the monopoly of foreign enterprises in the high-end transmission components market.
